Course Overview and Instructions: This course provides an in-depth study of issues related to the assessment and treatment of the domestic violence batterers, thoroughly covering the dynamics of abusive relationships, of facts of domestic violence on children, substance abuse and DV, intervention strategies for victims, intervention and prevention programs for batterers, DV and the workplace, batterers and the legal system, battered women and the legal system, establishing a solid foundation for those clinical trainees who desire to work in the domestic violence batterer treatment field.
Tuition: *Tuition must accompany the application. The full fee includes all required course materials (must be returned upon completion of course), certification application fee and examination fee.
A one year certification fee of $125.00 is required and payable to the NAFC. This fee is due only when you have received written notification from the NAFC of your application approval and passing of the examination and should not be included with the registration fee.
